Protect Your Child with A CAPE™ Toolkit.
If you have young children, it is essential that your planning goes beyond the typical guardianship nominations. If you already have an estate plan in place you likely have guardianship nominations included in your will, and that is where most attorneys and estate plans stop. Here at the Law Offices of Jill Gregory, we give our clients the option of including a CAPE™ Toolkit with any planning we do.
We have created a unique system, the CAPE™ Toolkit (Children Are Protected in an Emergency), with options to ensure that whether you pass away, become incapacitated, or even in a short-term emergency, your children will be taken care of by people you know, love and trust.
What Is Included in The CAPE™ Toolkit?
The CAPE™ Toolkit includes legal documents naming long-term guardians, as well as documents naming a number of individuals you authorize to care for your children in an emergency.
The CAPE™ Toolkit also includes medical forms and information. Specifically, it includes medical power of attorney forms you can use as needed as well as a summary of your child’s important medical information.
Finally, putting these documents in place is only the first step. We take the next step and send letters to those you have named letting them know that they have been chosen to act in these important roles.
Working with the Law Offices of Jill Gregory is about so much more than putting the standard estate planning documents in place. Our firm is here for you and your family when they need us most.
