Jill Gregory, Esq.
Jill Gregory, Attorney and Counselor at Law and founder of Jill Gregory Law, a professional corporation, focuses on highly personalized estate planning, probate and trust administration, and business planning.
Jill began her practice in 1997 with the estate planning department of a downtown San Francisco law firm and later with a boutique estate and business planning law firm in the Bay Area, working with one of the most innovative estate planners at that time. In that role, she worked closely with and created estate and business plans for affluent clients, including Napa Valley winery owners and Fortune 500 CEOs, officers and their families. Jill later opened a law practice in Tahoe City in 2001. Over time, Jill expanded her practice to serve clients in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2014, Jill opened an office at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. Jill continues to serve clients throughout California virtually and in-person.
Jill was selected to serve as a California Superior Court pro-tem Judge. She has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in Political Science from Pepperdine University and a Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law. Jill Gregory is licensed to practice law in the state of California.
Megan Gooing, Client Services Director and Funding Coordinator
Megan Gooing has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from New Mexico State University and a Juris Doctorate from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law. While in law school, Megan received the CALI award for her work in the Elder Law Clinic, which focused on estate planning, conservatorships, and guardianship nominations. She is currently awaiting her California Bar Exam results.
Megan has been our Client Services Director since 2016. Previously she worked for an estate litigation attorney but wanted to work with Jill Gregory Law to utilize a proactive approach to estate planning.
As our client services director, Megan is your main contact person when you work with us. She facilitates client communication, answers quick questions about the process, and guides you as you work with Jill.
Megan also facilitates asset examination, organization, and trust funding. Megan assists with review and organization of asset information for each client, prepares our clients’ asset reports, and works diligently with our clients and their financial institutions to make sure their assets are properly titled to coordinate with their estate plans. We ensure our clients’ trust plans are properly funded, that assets are properly titled or re-titled, and the plan works as intended when needed. Without proper funding, a trust is just a fancy document.
Megan looks forward to assisting you on your estate planning journey.
