Meet the Team
“It is my mission to be your trusted advisor and help you make the very best personal, financial, and legal decisions for your family throughout your lifetime, and to guide your loved ones through a difficult process if something should happen to you.”
JILL GREGORY, ESQ.
Jill Gregory, Attorney and Counselor at Law and founder of Jill Gregory Law, focuses on highly personalized estate planning, probate and trust administration, and business planning.
Jill began her practice in 1997 with the estate planning department of a downtown San Francisco law firm and later with a boutique estate and business planning law firm in the Bay Area, working with one of the most innovative estate planners at that time. In that role, she worked closely with and created estate and business plans for affluent clients, including Napa Valley winery owners and Fortune 500 CEOs, officers and their families. Jill later opened her own practice in Tahoe City in 2001 and added the Newport Beach office in 2014.
Jill was selected to serve as a California Superior Court pro-tem Judge. She has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in Political Science from Pepperdine University and a Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law. Jill Gregory is licensed to practice law in the state of California.

“Is a win in court even a win? Going to court can be one of the most painful and life altering experiences one may endure. Litigating in Orange County is a costly endeavor. Mediation and ADR allows you to maintain more control over the process.”
PARRIS TRIMBLE, ESQ., Of Counsel
Parris was born and raised in Southern California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business from the University of Southern California. Fight On! After a few years in the workforce, Parris earned her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School. During her time in law school, Parris was on Law Review, Moot Court Honors Board, and a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
When she began practicing law, Parris worked in the arena of civil law, specifically business litigation. Early on in her legal career, Parris turned her focus to legal issues affecting families. She worked diligently to help families navigate the often highly emotional areas of divorce, child custody, and domestic violence disputes. She understands that a one size fits all approach is rarely useful in the family law arena and instead handles each case with an individualized approach to best serve, first and foremost, the interest of the children.
After litigating hundreds of divorces in Orange County, and seeing firsthand the destruction courtroom battles can bring to families, both emotionally and financially, Parris turned her focus to helping family law clients reach a more peaceful resolution through mediation, as well as helping estate planning clients, trustees, executors and beneficiaries reach a peaceful resolution through alternative dispute resolution.
